Early Bird Rates - Get your entries in Before 1 February 2002 to avoid a late fee. Late entries will be accepted by post after that date or from 5-6pm on Saturday 9 February at the race site, and from 6.30am on race day.

All participants need to report to registration at the race site to be allocated race numbers and collect their race pack, preferably on Saturday 9 February at 5pm OR Sunday 10 February from 6.30am.
Saturday 9 February at race site at 4.45pm. It is essential that you are able to attend at this time if you are entered in this category. This will give you a chance to meet your team members before the event on Sunday morning.
Numbers will be written on all participants from 6.45am, please bring your race number with you.
Bikes can be placed in the Transition area from 6.30am. Please wear your helmet as you enter the transition area. Bags should be stored along the northern side of the transition area.
7.45 am, Sunday 10 February at race site.
Categories will be grouped, depending on numbers, with the older age groups starting first, then each wave (group of competitors) will start in 3min intervals, possibly up to about 8.30am. Full details provided on the information board at the race site and at the race briefing.
The race will take anywhere between 50minutes and approximately 2 hours to complete. Hence if you start at 8.30am and expect to be out there for a good long time ( better value for money…) it may be approximately 10.30 when you finish.

Trophies will be awarded to the first three places and teams in all categories. All participants have an equal chance for barrel draw prizes. Major prizes:
Road Bike - from Canberra Cycles

The swim will be from the eastern end of Yarralumla Bay around a buoy, situated approximately 50m out from the roped swim area, to the exit near the poplars just down from the toilet block.
The ride will exit from the eastern end of the transition area, situated on the road plus on-street parking area where Alexandrina Dr and Hopetoun Cct meet, then:
Scenic flat and fun!!! (See maps 10 and 11 yellow pages).
The run will be a single out and back course, exit at the western end from the transition area at Yarralumla Bay to be directed east through the treed area and out onto the bike track near where it crosses Alexandrina Dr at Hopetoun Cct. Travel along the bike track to the 2km turn around point, back into the treed area and through the finish chute.
