2001/2002 TACT Triathlon Series Elite Racing Criteria
Elite competitors must be current financial members of TACT or another TA
affiliated State or Territory triathlon association and 16 years of age as
at 1 October 2001, and should meet one or more of the following:
- Hold or be eligible to hold a TA professional licence (professional
licence holders must race in the Elite Race)
- Have raced in the elite category of the Tact Cup series in the past two
years
In the past 12 months, elite competitors may have:
- won their age group in a national selection race; or
- won a State Championship and finished within 10% of the overall winner's
time; or
- finished top 3 in their age group in a national championship of any
distance and finished within 10% of the overall winner's time
- finished top 10 in a world championship of any distance and finished
within 10% of the winner's time
- finished in the top 10 and within 5 minutes of the overall winner's time
in any of the TACT 2000/2001 Triathlete of the Year pointscore races
Applications from competitors not meeting the above criteria will be
considered on merit. Triathlon ACT reserves the right to accept or reject
any application.
