NOVICE RACE 1

RACE DATE: Saturday, 2 December 2000

RACE VENUE: Acton Ferry, Lake Burley Griffin

DISTANCE: 300m swim/8km cycle/2km run

ENTRIES CLOSE: 5.00pm Monday, 27 November 2000

LATE ENTRIES: Late entries will be accepted with an additional $5.00 late entry fee until 3.30pm Saturday.

REGISTRATION: Saturday, 2 December Between 1.30pm and 3.45pm at the Race site

RACE START TIME: 4.00pm

COURSE DETAILS: Start from Transition Compound, along Barrine Dr, left into Albert St, left onto Commonwealth Ave, left onto down ramp into Parkes Way. Along Parkes Way, left onto Lady Denman down ramp, right at the bottom onto Clunies Ross, under the bridge, right back up onto Parkes Way. Continue back along Parkes Way, under the Commonwealth Ave Bridge, left up the ramp onto Commonwealth Ave Bridge, across the bridge, first left down onto Flynn Dr, continue left under the bridge once again, left back up onto the bridge, across the bridge back towards the city, 1st left off the bridge back into Albert St, right back into Barrine Dr, along to Transition Compound.
