Join up or renew your membership online. Please update your contact details when you renew.

TRYStars

The TRYStars program is open to all kids aged 7-13years who like to have fun, get fit and be healthy at the same time. The aim of the program is to encourage all kids to have fun in triathlon. The events are held in a fun and safe  environment with qualified coaches to ensure you learn and have a great time!

So what does it mean to become a TRYstars Club Member?

  • You become a full member of Triathlon ACT and of Triathlon Australia up until June 30, 2009
  • You will receive your very own TRYstars membership card, a TRYstars t-shirt and swimming cap
  • You receive entry into the 4 race summer TRYStars series.
  • You will receive insurance coverage to June 30, 2009*
  • Discounted participation in TRYStars training days.

*TRYstars club members are covered for the following: Personal Accident Insurance 24 hours/7 days (including club activities, triathlon training and vent participation and Public Liability insurance if training in a group of 2 or more Triathlon Australia members.  This Public Liability cover will not apply if any incidents occur when a TRYstars member is not training or participating in the company of at least one other TA member.  Triathlon Australia recomends that any TRYstars member and their parents consult with their TRYstars club prior to undertaking any triathlon related training activities outside the Triathlon Club environment.

Family Membership

A family membership package allows for two adult memberships and three children.

If you are considering a family TACT membership and have children aged between 7-13 years, you may wish to consider TryStars membership rather than the Family membership option.  Trystars membership includes race entry into the four summer Trystars events, a Trystars t-shirt and swim cap whereas family membership does not.

So if you anticipate that your children will be participating in the Trystars program, it may be more cost effective for your active family to purchase adult membership as individuals and Trystars memberships for your children.

Member Protection Information Officer

Triathlon ACT has a Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) who can be contacted at any time via the TACT office.  Members with concerns or issues relating to harrassment, disputes, discrimination or abuse in any area of our sport should contact Debbie Styman, TACT Development Officer, who is the current TACT MPIO.
